By accessing, browsing, or using TaskJunction (the "Service," "Website," or "Site"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, including students, professionals, educators, and anyone who views or interacts with our calculators and content.

Calculator results are based on simplified formulas, stated assumptions, and publicly available engineering references. Real components, materials, tolerances, and operating conditions vary. Results may not account for every factor relevant to your application.

You are solely responsible for verifying outputs before use in production, safety-critical systems, regulatory submissions, or contractual deliverables. TaskJunction does not provide professional engineering services, design certification, or code compliance review.

The Service, including all content, software, functions, materials, and information made available on or accessed through the Service, is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

TaskJunction expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, including but not limited to:

• →Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement
• →Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of calculator results
• →Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components
• →Warranties that results are valid for any particular engineering application

You use the Service and rely on any results at your own risk. Engineering judgment, manufacturer data, and applicable standards always take priority over TaskJunction outputs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TaskJunction, Vaibhav Dhokpande, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:

• →Loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses
• →Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service
• →Damages resulting from reliance on calculator results
• →Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• →Damages resulting from statements or conduct of any third party on the Service

In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service, or one hundred US dollars (US$100), whichever is less.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our vendors or service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your access to or use of the Website, including advertising-related services described in our Privacy Policy.

TaskJunction may also contain links to third-party websites, standards bodies, manufacturers, or resources that are not owned or controlled by us. We have not reviewed all linked sites and are not responsible for their contents.

• →Any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party

TaskJunction reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide reasonable notice on our website before new terms take effect.

By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action or proceeding relating to your access to or use of the Service shall be instituted in courts of competent jurisdiction located in Maharashtra, India. You and TaskJunction agree to submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
